Whitchurch Rotary Club

Rotary has been called “the world’s greatest humanitarian organisation” – where men and women share a common interest in working together to help others.

Our Whitchurch club is among 1,700 in Great Britain and Ireland with more than 55,000 members countrywide. Worldwide there are 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 35,000 clubs in over 200 countries.

Each one operates independently for Rotarians to devote their time, energy, professional or personal skills to chosen projects and causes.

Much of our work in Whitchurch is well known from newspaper reports and reputation but a lot more goes on behind the scenes to improve the health, lifestyles and wellbeing of residents in and around our town as well as nationally and internationally.

Membership is about combining our twin charity and social roles with friendship, fun and helping other people who need support. Membership has no barriers of gender, race, religion or political persuasion beyond a desire to help. That’s why our motto is “Service above Self”.

We hope this website explains what we do but if you need to know more, enquire about membership or would like to support our activities, please Contact Us.
